1. Somboon 3 + 4

Die Somboon 3 and 4 are boats under thai management. The safaris are available from  October till May. Die Somboon 3 is cruising at the Similan Islands. You can stay on the boat from 1 day till up to you. The Somboon 4 is going at Similan Islands, Kho Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. The boats are 35 m long.  On the boat you have only twin bed cabins with window and air-condition, 6 bathrooms with toilet and hot water shower. 220 V electricity is available  24 hours. The boats got GPS, sonar, telephone, fax, radio, safety boats and oxygen.

For the last 2 years Somboon 3  has gone to the Similan Islands and has received great praise for it's high standard, service, food and for finding the best dive spots. The captain is one of the most experienced in Thailand and is an expert at dropping off and picking up divers as soon as they surface. The crew monitor the equipment and keep the oxygen tanks full to ensure safe and relaxed diving for all guests at the most beautiful dive spots. The Boat: 1. Deck: Big sun deck with sun beds 2. 2. M/V Faah –Yai

The M/V Faah Yai was built in 1996 as a private yacht and then refurbished in 1998 to work as a dive safari boat. The advantages are obvious. Direct arrival and departure via Ranong, shorter travel times (The distances between the dive sites are greater than in Thailand), more time to dive and less worry about keeping to schedule. Our 7 day North Burma Safaris also go into the Causa island area (New dive sites which we have inspected during the 2001/2002 season) where we can dive alone as no other dive companies are operating here at this time.

Here we would like to note that it is essential to rely on a good Safari Director and route plan to ensure high flexibility and that you get the most out of your Burma Safari.

3. M/V Mermaid 2

The Mermaid 2 leaves from Phuket and offers 2 - 6 day tours. Destinations include the Similan Islands, Surin Islands, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang.

There are usually 4 - 5 dives per day. Multilingual dive masters are available on request to accompany you on your dive. Experienced divers can dive independently in buddy teams. These dive areas are among the best in the Andaman Sea. They are impressive for the great variety of coral and fish, the giant Manta rays and many turtles. Hin Daeng is a big rock covered with soft coral and Hin Muang offers steep walls down to 65 m. The vast variety of species is breathtaking and Leopard sharks and Manta rays can be seen regularly.
